• AAK Personal Care has received Natural Product Association (NPA) certification for Lipex Sheasoft, Lipex Cocoasoft and Lipex Genova. These performance emollients, which are derived from the renewable sources of shea, cocoa and palm, are specially formulated to a high level of functionality in cosmetic formulations and contribute aesthetics, moisturization and structure to formulations, according to the company. “The NPA certification of Lipex Sheasoft, Lipex Cocoasoft and Lipex Genova is great news for natural formulators who need certified natural ingredients which also have superior performance,” said John O’Keefe, director, AAK US Personal Care, Edison, NJ. “These ingredients add much needed functionality while meeting the requirements of certified natural formulations,” he explained.
